We are deeply saddened to report that Brendan Casey, father of Emer, passed away peacefully on 28 August 2020. He was a driving force behind the work of the Emer Casey Foundation and he will be greatly missed. Many of you will have come across Brendan at his practical, cheerful, optimistic best on the sidelines of the Emer Casey Runs in Youghal and London and at many events which have benefitted the Foundation since its inception in 2006. He took enormous pride in the work of the Foundation and we will remember his influence as we continue our work into the future.
